TELETRAC NAVMAN DRIVES GROWTH WITH CHRIS WRIGHT WIN
Teletrac Navman, at the forefront of telematics for more than 25 years, has been chosen to support specialist haulage business Chris Wright Ltd. with the first stages of its digital transformation.
Milton Keynes, January 2 2020 - With a long and respected history in the haulage industry, Chris Wright Ltd. supports a wide range of customers across all corners of the UK, particularly with the movement of specialist machinery and mobile assets, from heavy duty excavators and bulldozers, to helicopters and train carriages.
With this being Chris Wright Ltd.’s first move into digital fleet management, Teletrac Navman’s Customer Service Specialist (CSS) team has been working closely with the operator’s fleet managers to understand the key performance indicators the business is looking to improve through the adoption of Teletrac Navman’s solutions. The CSS team has since provided expert consultancy to guide the haulage operator through every stage – from planning and installation, to training and ongoing proactive weekly support calls – enabling the business to establish a strong ROI and best use of all the available tools.
As part of the contract, market-leading tracking hardware has been installed across Chris Wright Ltd.’s 70-strong fleet of vehicles and trailers. The fleet will then be centrally managed via Teletrac Navman’s DIRECTOR platform, which is an advanced fleet tracking system that provides fleet managers access to real time data in one easy-to-use interface – with the requirement on Chris Wright Ltd. to have their loads on site at very specific times, DIRECTOR will enable its fleet manager to give real time location updates to drivers and customers alike.
Scott Ashdown, Fleet Manager at Chris Wright Ltd., said: “This has been a big commitment for the business to adopt new technology to create operational efficiencies, and Teletrac Navman showed it was the perfect partner from the off.
“Not only are its products best-in-class, but the personal care and attention we have received from planning to implementation has been greatly reassuring. We’re looking forward to exploring other areas of our digital transformation with Teletrac Navman as our fleet management processes develop.”
Scott Hutchins, UK VP Sales at Teletrac Navman, said: “While customers get the benefit of our products and services, they also get the benefit of our strongest asset – our people. We pride ourselves on providing true consultancy to businesses like Chris Wright Ltd., who are at the start of their digital transformation and ensuring that not only can they make immediate efficiencies, but they have all the training needed to keep extracting future value from the installation.”
