Teletrac Navman develops combined dashcam and telematics safety system.

Teletrac Navman UK has developed a new Driver Safety Analytics Module that combines dashcam technology with telematics data.

The new technology forms part of the telematics firm's existing Director system and provides fleet managers with the information they need to reduce road risk and ensure safe driving practices across their fleets.

It features a forward-facing dashboard camera, which continuously records high definition video. Recordings are all accessible via an integrated Event Viewer, which allows fleet managers to replay any dangerous events on a second-by-second basis to monitor driver performance and use as evidence for any insurance claims.

It also includes driver scorecards to track and rank driver improvements over time, and a reporting module to provide overall fleet evaluation.
