TELETRAC NAVMAN DELIVERS TELEMATICS DEAL WITH APPLEBY WESTWARD

Milton Keynes, March 22, 2018 –  The South West-based wholesaler, who has not previously embraced telematics, has installed Teletrac Navman’s award-winning tracking and fleet management solutions across its entire fleet, which consists of 14 HGVs and 30 passenger cars. The business signed a three-year contract, having realised the benefits of adopting Teletrac Navman’s suite of solutions following a six-month trial. 

Equipped to achieve greater efficiency across their fleet and a higher level of reporting, each HGV will deploy an integrated dash cam, allowing the business to access video footage and accurately identify liability of fault in the event of a road accident, thus helping to reduce insurance premiums. In addition to the vehicles tachograph, which is used to monitor driver hours and simplify compliance, the M-NAV fleet tracking and management solution have also been installed. Appleby Westward’s fleet of cars will also contain dash cams as well as privacy buttons, with the latter distinguishing between business and private mileage. 

The deal also comprises an unlimited aftercare package, including training so all fleet managers and drivers have a thorough understanding of how the system works and how best to put it to use to maximise results.
