ALS LABORATORIES (UK) LTD PUTS TELEMATICS TO THE TEST WITH TELETRAC NAVMAN   

At the forefront of telematics technology for more than 25 years, Teletrac Navman has signed a new deal with ALS Laboratories (UK) Ltd to provide its market-leading products across the business’ UK fleet. 

Milton Keynes, September 13, 2019 - ALS offers a comprehensive range of microbiological, physical and chemical testing services for businesses operating in the food and drink, dairy, and pharmaceutical industries. Having built its reputation over the past 20 years, the business now achieves international recognition for the standards and output it achieves.

The new partnership will see ALS benefit from Teletrac Navman’s connected fleet management platform, DIRECTOR. The platform is an advanced fleet tracking system and enables fleet managers to have access to real time data in one easy-to-use interface, providing a diverse range of information, from the location of individual vehicles (tracked in real time), to vehicle utilisation, and driver performance.

Since its launch, DIRECTOR has been pivotal in helping businesses across the UK improve uptime by an average of 15%, reduce accidents and incidences of poor driving by an average of 20%, and reduce fuel consumption by an average of 30%, protecting expensive mobile assets and their bottom line.

Teletrac Navman’s Driver ID system will also be installed across more than 80 of ALS’ refrigerated vehicles, which are in charge of efficient sample collection and protection. Driver ID is linked to DIRECTOR for visibility on who is behind the wheel at any particular time. 

ALS has also received the support of Teletrac Navman’s Professional Services team, which provides expert consultancy at the onset of an implementation to guide businesses on the best set-up for their business, ensuring maximum ROI.
