In the rapidly evolving field of fleet management operations, our connected platform helps our customers reduce environmental impact, improve safety, and optimize business performance. At Teletrac Navman, we develop technology that empowers businesses to digitally transform how they manage these mobile assets, while doing it in a way that is responsible, sustainable and provides value to the community. We enable businesses large and small to streamline their operations, reduce fuel costs and CO2 emissions, and help create a safer work environment for their drivers, operators and the public, as well as contribute to the global economy in a way that all can benefit.
Teletrac Navman and Vontier are committed to giving back to our communities and our employees look forward getting involved in different initiatives each year. Our annual Day of Caring allows our employees across our 9 global locations, to make a difference in their community, either online or safely in-person.
Last year, our teams cleaned up local parks, donated food and collected supplies, gave blood, and otherwise donated money, time, and their unique skills to invest and serve people in their own backyards.
We look beyond simply providing a service to our customers, and instead seek to positively impact environmental issues worldwide and to offer a safe and rewarding work environment for our employees. As part of Vontier, we believe in a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, as well as inclusion and diversity. We believe that inclusion, diversity and equity require active participation at all levels to thrive. Our CEO, Mark Morelli, has demonstrated his personal commitment by signing the CEO Action for Inclusion & Diversity pledge and joining the Valuable 500, a global movement to revolutionize disability inclusion through business leadership.
We celebrate the diversity of all people, and place high value in knowing that each employee draws from their own unique background and experience. This belief allows us to effectively serve our customers, contribute to growth, and make a positive impact in the world around us.
As part of Vontier, we are six operating companies united by a powerful purpose: mobilizing the future to create a better world. This means forward-thinking products and services that tap into alternative fuel sources, keep people and goods moving efficiently, improve road safety, and clear the way for emergency vehicles. We harness the power of Vontier Business System (VBS) to reduce waste, water, and energy. This continuous improvement mindset accelerates individual and team growth by learning, applying, and contributing new ideas.
As we create a better world—for our employees, customers, shareholders, and communities— our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) approach provides our foundation. We believe that by focusing on our employees’ safety and well-being, sense of belonging and purpose, and growth and development we will fully unleash our collective potential, accelerate progress for all of our stakeholders, and fulfil our purpose to Mobilize the Future to Create a Better World.
After a challenging few years for so many globally, we were delighted to see so many team members take the time to give back to their local communities. This year, 25 volunteers from the UK region took part in a number of fundraising initiatives in support of Mind BLMK (Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes), including pledging to walk 100 miles in November alone and completing the 3 Peaks challenge!
Representatives also volunteered at HULA ANIMAL RESCUE, and you can see by the looks on their faces that the team have loved it! Chloe commented that it was “a great day at HULA, and the charity were so lovely and friendly! It was a great experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!" Whilst Ben added “it felt so great to give back to the community and I’m so thankful Vontier allows us to do something like this. It was really rewarding to hear from the charity that the work we done would have taken them days or weeks to do on their own. It feels as if you are making a real difference.”
To Chloe, Ben, and of course the entire team who joined HULA, we're so proud of you. It means so much to see our Teletrac Navman family embrace the Vontier culture of being stronger together, and creating a better future.
We understand how important for our customers, and their customers, to partner with companies that demonstrate a commitment to sustainability. That's why we're so proud to say that we've received the Silver Recognition Level from EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings!
To qualify for this, EcoVadis experts evaluate company performance on 21 material issues that were grouped into four categories: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Each company is assessed in these areas as they pertain to their company's size, location and industry.
Now, our detailed environmental, social and ethical assessment and full business sustainability rating from EcoVadis is available to view.
This report highlights our strategy and practices that positively impact employees, partners, the communities in which we operate and the broader world around us.
These commitments ensure we embed sustainability into every aspect of our business, setting us apart as the employer, partner and investment of choice through our efforts to build a smarter, more connected world.
What's more, as part of the Vontier group of companies, Teletrac Navman (UK) Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2030. This is our first year of reporting our current emissions for our UK operation, and we have used our 2019 figures as a baseline, in light of the significant but imprecise reduction in collective energy use throughout 2020 and 2021 caused by the restrictions enforced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Review our Carbon Reduction Plan for further information.
Teletrac Navman is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and we are forever striving to do what's right.
